Nature of the Service

Libya Trade Basket is a platform for listing wholesale goods and connecting merchants. It is not an online store: there is no shopping cart, no orders, no payment, and it does not handle shipping, delivery, or storage. Every transaction takes place directly between the two merchants outside the app.

Who May Use It

• The service is for business owners in Libya.
• Information entered at registration must be accurate and your own.
• Your account is your responsibility, and you are accountable for everything done through it.
• One account per business; duplicate or fake accounts are closed.
• We may review a new merchant account before it can publish offers or send messages.

What You Post

• You alone are responsible for the accuracy of your offers, images, quantities, and prices.
• Listing anything unlawful under Libyan law, misleading or abusive content, or images that are not of your goods is prohibited.
• Using the platform for spam or harvesting merchant data is prohibited.
• An offer that breaches these terms or Libyan law is rejected or removed because of that breach, and you are notified. An offer that follows the terms is never removed.

Verification

Business verification is optional and reviewed manually against submitted documents. It means we have seen a valid document; it is not a guarantee regarding the quality of your goods or your adherence to any agreement.

Limitation of Liability

We do not guarantee the quality of any listed goods, the accuracy of any merchant's information, or the completion of any transaction. We bear no responsibility for disputes or losses arising from dealings between parties who met through the platform.

In-App Messaging

Messaging is a way to agree on a deal, not an advertising channel. Sending repeated or promotional messages to merchants who did not ask for them is prohibited, and you are answerable for what you write in a message as you are for your offers. We do not look at the content of your conversations except when a specific message is reported to us.

Reports and Blocking

You may report any violating offer, account, or message, and block anyone you do not wish to hear from — their offers leave your lists and yours leave theirs, and they can neither message nor follow you. We may suspend or ban any account that violates these terms or harms other merchants.

Free and Paid Services

Using the app is free: browsing, seeing prices and contact details, publishing offers, and in-app messaging carry no fee. The only paid service is business verification, which is optional, and its fee is shown in the app before payment.

• The verification fee is paid by transfer to one of the accounts listed on the verification screen; you then upload, with your request, an image of the official receipt for the transfer as issued by the bank or payment service.
• The request is reviewed manually, and verification is granted only after the receipt and documents are checked.
• A rejected request is not granted, and you are told why.
• No automatic or recurring charge: nothing is taken from you without a transfer that you start yourself.

Intellectual Property

The platform's name, logo, design, and software belong to its owner. Content you post remains yours, and by posting it you grant us the right to display it within the app for the sole purpose of operating the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may amend these terms and will post the amendment on this page with its date. Continued use after an amendment constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws in force in the State of Libya.
