Who We Are

Libya Trade Basket is a Libyan platform for listing wholesale goods and connecting merchants, owned and operated by AHMED MOHAMMED BASHEER ALABUZIDI. It does not broker sales, process payments, or handle shipping; transactions take place directly between merchants outside the app.

Information We Collect

• Account data: name, phone number, and email if provided.
• Business data: business name, type, city, and the contact methods you choose to display.
• Verification documents: commercial registration or equivalent, if requested — reviewed manually and shown to no one but the reviewer.
• Content you post: product photos, offer details, and prices.
• Technical data: device type, push notification token, and error logs.

How We Use It

• To create your account and verify you at sign-in.
• To show your goods to other merchants and let them contact you.
• To send notifications about your account, offers, or messages.
• To prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not build marketing profiles from it.

Where It Is Stored

All data — including images and documents — is stored on our own servers located in Libya. We do not use any third-party cloud storage service for user data.

What Others See

What you publish in an offer — business name, city, product photos, and the contact method you chose to display — is visible to other merchants; that is the purpose of the platform. Your email, commercial registration number, and device tokens are never shown to anyone.

Sharing With Others

We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing. We may disclose limited data if required by a Libyan authority under the law, and only to the extent requested.

Your Rights

• Edit your account and business details at any time in the app.
• Delete your account — your offers and personal data are removed from active use.
• Request a copy of what we hold about you via the contact number below.

Data Security

We take reasonable technical measures: hashed passwords and verification codes, role-based access restrictions, fully encrypted connections (HTTPS), and monitoring for suspicious activity.

Children

The service is intended for business owners, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Any material change is posted on this page with its date.
